Modern Inn

Excellent location - just a few minutes walk to the train station, and many local buses stop right in front of the building. A very nice hotel, we had a nice room on the 9th floor with a great view from the window (I would ask for a room with a view when you make a reservation), clean, quiet. Very friendly staff. The reception room has a nice large sitting area with bags of nice snacks, coffee, and tea. If we ever come back to Taichung, we will come back to this hotel without any doubts.

Rooms were compact but very nice and had everything needed. The staff were very friendly and courteous - they didn't speak a lot of English but were able to get by with google Translate. They still went out of their way to communicate and were very kind and helpful. There is also a nice seating area on the lobby floor with tea and coffee facilities. The reception is not 24 hours (this is stated very clearly, so was not an issue), so make sure to let them know ahead of time if you need to drop off luggage.

The location is close to Taichung Station, just minutes away. Location is in the center and close to the park and night market. Bed are comfy and the room set with technology, i.e: open the door with passcode, turn the lights with remote, etc. Common area is comfortable and lots of snacks.

Great location, the room looks exactly like the pictures, stylish interior, nice layout and a view of the city. Bus and bike are around the corner. Staff are helpful, you just need Ggl translate.

Great location right by the Sun Moon Lake bus. Walking distance to some great restaurants, dessert shops. The upstairs lounge was nice with city views, comfortable chairs, and some free drinks. No one was up there when I was! The room was just as described and as seen in photos. It was a great deal and everything worked. I would stay again.
